Optical Alignment Service
When a shaft system bearing fails or stern tube repair is made, it is often necessary to check the bearing bore alignment optically. DIEHL ENGINEERING COMPANY will perform the required optical sightings ourselves using our own equipment, or provide oversight and technical assistance of others' optical sightings. DEC will engineer the sighting results and provide instructions for re-boring, including slope or offset boring, where needed.
