Water-Lubricated Sleeve-Type Bearings
DEC will select commercially available water-lubricated bearings for use in shipboard stern and strut bearings, or recommend modifications necessary to suit obvious performance problems of bearings in service.
DEC will advise on slope boring if there have been failures due to poor load distribution, or when our optical boresights indicate a need in order to prevent failures in future.
